1970s Cream Wedding Dress

This beautiful wedding dress is from the 1970's. The dress has a small train which buttons up at the waist for after the ceremony. This beautiful dress has zip up back and high collar at the nape of the neck which fastens with a press stud. The bodice is floral embroidered with a scoop neckline.

This dress is a Teeny By Priscilla

During the 1960's and 1970's, many designers chose to work in the newest man-made materials. Priscilla Kidder continued to use English net. Now, vintage Priscilla of Boston gowns from the 1960's and 1970's appear timeless, making them difficult to pinpoint for their exact date of creation.

In the 1970's, the Priscilla of Boston firm began a line of petite gowns, "Teeny by Priscilla." For petite customers, the gowns were waif like and feminine, with body proportions suitable for women 5' 4" and under.

"Teeny by Priscilla" gowns featured the same superb dressmaking details of regular Priscilla gowns. Similar dresses from Teeny by Priscilla sold for around $600 in the early 1970s.

This dress would be beautiful dyed or perhaps used in a theatrical production.
